This is a way overdue report and I will keep it short.
The Scarlet Sunbird from our hotel room. A really really long shot with the 600 + TC 17 ( 1/60th @ F6.7 ISO 250) but, I like this one. This is one pretty birdie for sure !
Highlights
Hoolock Gibbon, the only Ape in India at Panbari.
Rare ones: The Abbots Babbler & The Silver Breasted Broadbill also at Panbari. Panbari is a forest and a dense one and totally high ISO zone. One can only do a walking trail. Shooting style, hand held or at best, long lens on a monopod. Be very aware of stumbling into wild elephants.
The Swamp Francolin on the eastern range. Way low light and these were pretty far away. Not the best of shots but, there you are.

The Pallas Fish Eagle
The King Vulture & Another Pallas Fish Eagle above its nest. I like this one

The Golden Langur
Thousands of Greater Adjutant Storks at Guwahati Garbage Dump. Probably the single largest population of the endangered Greater Adjutant Storks anywhere in the world.
Thanks for sharing such great photos. I am volunteering with The Cincinnati Zoo and Orange County Choppers helping to raise money for endangered Indian and Sumatran Rhino research..
