    • We went to Uran today after a long break. The pools were full and the vegetation thick. Since the water level was too high couldnt find any waders close by to photograph.

    First we spotted an egret

    The a Bronze Wing Jacana near the JNPT police station. The Jacana was probably trying to build a nest. Shot from the car with my Sigma. Got some cool wing spread shots. The back ground was not the most clean but ..hey it was fun shootin in HSC, 8 FPS on the D2X !!!

    Close by a cormorant gave us good views and gave us quzzical looks ( Pic on the right!)
